After a quick and self-guided identification process, the user is issued a qualified electronic signature – online, instantly, and within just a few minutes. Identity verification using this method can be completed in a desktop or mobile browser, or in the AutoIdent mobile app.
How does the process work?

Prepare a valid identity document (ID card or passport).

Take photos of the front and back of your document. The system will automatically read and verify the data and security features.

Record a short selfie video – the so-called liveness check – to confirm that it’s really you.

IDnow’s algorithms will compare your face with the document and confirm your identity within moments. That’s it!
The entire process takes place online and is available 24/7, from anywhere in the world. There’s no need to schedule a call or wait for a verifier – it only takes a few minutes to start signing documents with a qualified electronic signature.
AutoIdent meets all security and regulatory compliance requirements (including eIDAS and KYC) while significantly simplifying and speeding up the verification process.
